SCMF Highlights:
A recent report evaluated the impact of opioid safety coalitions on communities and found that "the presence of an opioid coalition lowered fatal opioid overdoses by 21% between 2015 and 2018." Another notable find from the article is that the "presence of a local opioid safety coalition was associated with a small but statistically significant decrease in overall opioid prescribing."
